The 2011 edition of the Hip Hop World Awards (aka the Headies), were held in Lagos earlier this week, and our host Darey took home a couple of major statues.

Celebrating Nigeria’s most talented and promising music acts, the Headies are as prestigious as they come, and this year they honoured massive Naija acts like 2Face, Wizkid and Ice Prince.

More notably, our Glo Naija Sings host Darey scooped a handful of massive awards, including Recording Of The Year for "The Way You Are" (a category in which "originality and production are essential"); and Best R&B Single for the same track.
